Easy Wallpaper Removal

Law101:
Mix liquid fabric softner with water (about 1/4 cup fabric softner in a large spray bottle). 

If your wall paper is vinyl coated, peel off the vinyl part and then spray the paper part with the fabric softner solution.  get it really wet and then let it set for about 5 minutes.  It will peel off easily.  Do one section at a time and make sure you put plastic and towels on the floor by the wall as some of it will run down the wall.  Use a wide blade putty knife to scrape the wall with, although once you get an edge started, it peels off quite easily.  Just be carefull not to gouge the wall with the putty knife.

This works just as good as the store bought wall paper remover and costs a whole lot less. 

Be sure and wash the stuff off the wall before painting.
