Ham & Beans
Eden:
oh yeah fried potatoes and cornbread - that is a must.
You can't over cook them - unless you burn them or they run out of juice.
I just do the crock because you don't have to stir them and I work, I can put them on and they are done when I get home.

That's good. Then you just have to cook the beans as we all suggested.

When they are in a crockpot, and let them go all day, do you put them on high or low?
igahmah at work:
I only cook them on the weekends so I can cook them for 5-6 hours. Yeah, I know that sounds like a long time but they are sooooo good. They are done way before that but they taste much better and you get a better broth if you let them simmer for a while. It's a good thing to cook when you are home for the weekend, cleaning house or something, no place to go. Yummo.
