How many do we need in this area anyways? ???

Subways prices are a bit high anymore as well. My husband picked up two sandwiches for us the other night. It costed $15! $15 for sandwiches!?

I went to the Subway in Road Ranger one night and waited 15 min. to be waited on. When the guy FINALLY came out instead of a "sorry about the wait, how can I help you" I get a "what do you need". He sighed the whole time he was making my sandwich and just acted as if he didn't want to be there. That is the ONLY time I have had a problem with service there though.

subway near blockbuster is good, the one by main gate is top notch, the one in walmart is poor (stale food, poor slow ineffective service)

Last time I went to Subway in St. Robert it was $26.XX for my hubby and I and our two boys.  (and that was three 6" sandwich meals and a kid's pack) I love Subway, but that is insane.

I will not mention which Subways, since Rick doesn't like that sort of thing, but the help gets bonuses at SOME of them, from ONE owner, for short portioning the meat. Yes, I know the meat is preportioned.  It is tampered with.  I got this info from the store MGR. who was doing it and profit sharing.

I think Subway is good. Its healthy and fresh.I do think there are too many for such a small area though. And the price is quite high.I guess we can all blame Jared for the high price though..he lost over 200 pounds with the Subway diet, right?

So they say.   I like them too, I just don't appreciate being cheated and just eating bread.   I mean, Quizno commercials are now making fun of the Subway meat alotment.  I love the smell of the place.

A friend of mine ate a salad at quiznos at the lake last weekend and lost 6 lbs in 24hours - and he never left the bathroom.

But you are watching them make the sub, if it's not enough meat tell them to forget it. After all, Jared says you are creating your own sandwich.

But tell me, because I am hot on principle.   Would you patronize a place that has a profit sharing program for cheating the customers?

Mind you, I only know that about one franchize owner.  I switched to wraps, anyway, for any other subways I go to.   Though I think I would be in trouble if I tried a meatball wrap, if they can even do that.

I really enjoy the grilled chicken breast with bacon subs.

On 7-8-09 just after the noon hour we went to this location for 3 subs. The young people behind the counter were nasty, rude and seemingly offended that they actually had a rather busy lunch rush (although there were only two people besides us in the place at the time) and that they still had to deal with customers. The kid said, "people just keep coming back to Subway.." as if he would rather not have to deal with customers at all. Thumbs down. We advise the Subway across from Price Cutter.

Weird.  I went on the 7th and there seemed to be older, nicer people working there (the one by Auto Zone).  I was disappointed because a Subway commercial this week showed the new chicken salad sub and I wanted one because I love good chicken salad...of course they didn't have it so had to settle for tuna salad...which is ok, but not what I wanted.  I was told the chicken salad must be in certain areas only.  Anyway the tuna with lettuce, bananna peppers, jalapeno peppers and black olives is really good also.

I went to the one at Walmart last night looking for the chicken salad too.  She said you can get it in Rolla but not here.  Bummer.

Went by one in Rolla Friday.  There were (no kidding) about 40-50 people lined up outside the store waiting in line...mostly college students...or else that chicken salad is just all that good!!

Subways always seem to be busy when I go - so to me there is a need for all of them.
