Sorry...couldn't resist.    My daughter has an interview there today as a bartender, so I know they have a bar and probably smoking at the bar....I'm thinking like Ruby Tuesday's, but I really don't know.  Maybe she'll have some insight when she gets back this afternoon and I can jump on here and put out some better info. 8)

They have their menus online at www.millers-grill.com
Apparently this will be the 3rd since there is one in Washington, MO & another in Houston, MO.

Miller's Grill opens to the public today...they had a red carpet roll out for the last few days.  The menu looks great and they have all kinds of specialty drinks.  It's reasonably priced.  I think we'll go this evening.  Hopefully they don't close on Mondays like a lot of places do.  We'll call first.

I drove by on the way home tonight at 8:35--the parking lot was packed!  I guess we'll wait until the lines die down a little.

I was invited to eat there Saturday, just a few days before opening, and I have to admit that at first when I heard about Miller's Grill being built, I wasn't very happy. (I had hoped it was going to be an Applebee's.)
After being invited to try out the new restaurant, I am now thrilled about Miller's Grill opening here!
I ordered their Buffalo Salad, and I can only say,....YUUMMMMM!!!

Ate there last night and it wasn't bad.  With all the "hoopla" I was expecting more, but it was good.  I had a Cheeseburger and fries, my girlfriend had the fried catfish.  Portions are perfect size, not too much food, but enough to fill you up; I left "comfortably full", but not overfull.  My burger was a bit over-done from what I ordered, but still good; girlfriend couldn't say enough about the catfish; she loves it.

Prices are reasonable for a sit down restaurant, service was excellent and despite the full parking lot we were able to be seated immediately in the smoking section, although it appeared there was a wait for the non-smoking section.

Took the family to Miller's Grill last night and we all enjoyed it very much. The waitresses were super fun and friendly and made sure we were well taken care of. I had the Catfish dinner and it was great. My husband had Steak and Shrimp and he said it was very good. It will be our family's choice of places to eat. Prices are comparable to the other restaurants here. We are a family of 4 (and a half, 9 mo. old) and we all ate for $50.

Well, as usual a wrench got thrown into things.  When the crew was hired, they were told they would get their first "Miller's Grill" shirt free and after that they have to pay for them.  What happens?  Their first check had a deduction of $17.50 for their shirts.  Do other places (McDonald's, etc.) make their employees buy their shirts when they've been hired and have to wear the shirt to work there?

When I worked at a sporting goods store, we had to buy our t-shirts. I thought that it was retarded. I think that if they said that they were going to provide them w/shirts they should not have took it out of their pay check. That's deceitful. I'd definitely complain.

Some places make you purchase the uniform and others do not -- I've worked for both kinds.
I wonder if this could have been an error - if they were put in the computer as an employee but not new -- It just may get fixed and the next pay check will have the $17.50 in it.  I'd look into it and mention the first shirt promise to get it fixed

Is it possible that there is a second shirt coming in short order so that people can wash one and wear one, especially if they work 2 nights in a row?

I had the appetizer sampler, and it was good, the hot wings were great. The food was OK, the salad was edible, no thrill there. Another time I had the Porter House steak and it was OK.  Broccoli was cooked (Some places serve it undercooked or cold.), toast was just OK. No big deal, don't think I will go out of my way to eat there a third time. Mylisa had Chicken Parmesan and liked it. My first meal was ribs and they were again just OK. Not one thing, other than hot wings stood out as being great (Similar to the way Dominoes makes them, maybe more hot sauce.) Service was very good I might add. Was seated immediately in smoking section, non smoking was a wait. Very roomy inside the building, unlike Rubys.

Thank you.  We have not tried this place yet - but were thinking about for the next Reserve Drill.  Has anyone been there with a party of say 10 or 15?
Perhaps we should just stick with the HUB though.

Glad to see someone else thought it was "okay".  We went and spend $70 for our family of 4... Steak was a little dry.  Fish was good.  Chicken was okay.  The biggest three disappointments were the soft drinks, potato soup, and our service...b/c of the boil order all they had was pepsi or sierra mist.  It took them about a half hour to bring us an apple juice as well.  And the baked potato soup...I expected a regular baked potato soup and it just tasted like velveta cheese with uneven chunks of potatos and carrots (carrots in baked potato soup???)...I asked the waitress if it was Chedder Baked Potato...she patted me on the back like a kid and told me it was baked potato.  We really didnt love that the waitress patted the table EVERY time she came over (DH felt like he was at a black jack table in the casino)...and in my opinion it was too often...

I ate there tonight with a friend.

It was "OK."  Nothing phenom or anything though.  It WAS far superior to our local Ruby Tuesday's though.  The service was really good on our visit tonight.

Using Rick's rating scale, I give it a 3.  Average.

We at there tonight.  I had ribs, fried potatoes and baked beans with house salad.  I thought the food was very good.  Ribs were tender and had good flavor.  Potatoes were real potatoes fried with onions, yum.  Baked beans had a good taste.  Salad trimmings were cut in small pieces, which I really like,  Nothing worse than getting a salad with a quarter of a tomatoe cut up on the top of it.  I'll be glad when the boil order is lifted, they didn't have any fountain drinks and I'm not a bottle soda lover.  Service was great!  I will definately go again, but a little to expensive to make it a once a week place.  Ambience is nice.
