They played this video in my church today.  So many people think being a Christian is all about being religious.  It's not.  Religion has made more people run away from the church than bring them into the body of Christ.  When you talk about the "laws" in the OT, you are talking about "religion."  Rules, laws, things nobody can get right all the time.  That is not what having a relationship with Jesus is all about.  I can still be ME, with all my failures and bad habits, and still receive the Grace that is given to me, unconditionally, by the love of God.  I know some will want to argue about what he says, just so you know.. I won't.
