  • Valor7: Actually no it is not, a dependable Revenue stream will not come on line until the 4th quarter of 2017 so 2018 budget will be up in the air, not quite sure what they will have. By 2019 budget all will be well.

  • Valor7: I could have worded that better, we talked details, options, the pros and cons of each, in  order to arrive at the best ballot language to present to the voters. Hope that makes this clearer.

  • Valor7: Yes and no. We talked details and options until we were blue in the face but I never heardbring it over, it was always the time was not right for the issue to pass. Glad to see the time in now right and I for one shall vote yes on the ballot. I would urge all others to do the sameour county is busting at the seams crimewise and no matter how many bad guys we send off there always seems to someone to replace them. The Sheriff's Office needs the help.

Well I have to admit, when me and La Nada pulled up the the joint i honestly wasnt expecting a whole lot out of the place. Boy, was i wrong. We got a table real quick, and honestly I dont think i have ever had my drink brought to the table that fast. Our food came so quick, I didnt even realize i was waiting that long. The waitress we had, was i believe the best I have ever experienced. For her to think of my daughter and bring her food out first so she wouldnt become impatient, was the nicest thing a waitres has done for us at the establishments I have been to around the area. The inside of the restaurant wasnt as up to date as many of the other places, but it reminded me of my grandparents place back home. My family and I will most definately go back.

We've been going there for almost 10 years and only once had a problem with everything being "nearly" burned.  Otherwise, always perfect and great service.  I believe the same guy owns the Dairy Queen and the gas station next door....and a motel across the road.
....and that night as the moon crossed the mountain, one more Coyote was heard...

It blows my mind when people walk into a place called "Country Cafe" and expect a 5-Star experience.  Places like this are supposed to offer good food at an affordable price--not filet mignon.  I'd hardly call it a dump.  I had the BLT and loved it.  It's a bit out of my way so I've only been there twice in the last year but it's worth stopping in for a bite if you're in the mood for something like that.

The owner is Sadat. He got it when he split from the gas station. He no longer has his hands in it. Yes he owns the Dairy Queen also. He bought it after he sold the restaurant at the truck port. He does not have anything to do with any motels/hotels.
If your going to be dumb, you better be tough!

Perhaps "dump" was a bit strong.  I pass the place twice a day.  There are always many cars in the lot.  Most of the time when I go in, there are a lot of people drinking coffee and smoking, but not eating.  The few times I have eaten there, the food as been less than spectacular as in not so hot.

Last July we needed a last minute place for breakfast for about 40 people.  It was the final day of a big reunion.  We called the night before and asked them if they could handle a farewell breakfast.  We arrived they had tables waiting and coffee ready.  The food was very good and the service was quick.  We had a great time and everyone enjoyed  themselves.
