We were visiting some friends, and they invited us to stay for dinner.
They called KFC and attempted to place an order.
The lady on the phone was very impatient.
My host asked to speak to the manager, and was told they were speaking to to the manager.
At this point my friend told her to never mind the whole order, because they were not the only chicken place in town.
I then told him of all the trouble other members of the board had been having.
He told us to add him to the list. He called Popeye's.
No such problem with Popeye's Chicken. It was even hot by the time we arrived back at their house!
The red beans and rice was very tasty, not too fond of their gravy on the mashed potatoes though.
Some people are like Slinkies... Not really good for anything, but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs.

I'd give my left arm to be ambidextrous...

We used to go once a week but not any more.  It's been on the slide for about a year. I think most of fast food has lost its appeal because of high prices, low quaility and virus/pest problems.

I like their food every once in a while, but most of the time I seem to get the "old" food that has been there for hours on end.
I dont know how they do it,  but the way they cook it now makes it taste like it is a few hours old.

My mom went last night and she loved KFC and had a craving for it. She said the food was horrible and tasted very old. Lets say it cured her craving for KFC for a long time. She was very disappointed because she don't get to eat out much.

I like that chicken/corn/potato bowl.  I also think their buffet is good too.  I don't know why the counter seems to be a problem all the time.  I had iced tea and they would only give me 2 sweetners.  I said I was going to get more tea later, but the guy said when I did, to come up and ask for more sweetner.  Good grief.
....and that night as the moon crossed the mountain, one more Coyote was heard...

A few months ago a friend of mine went into KFC. It was pretty chilly and windy. She had two small children in tow. They go up to the counter with a couple of smirking "kids" by the register. She starts to place an order. One kids says "We are out of chicken". My friend says "You're what?". He says we are out of chicken. Meanwhile, the other "kid" hurries to the back only for my friend to HEAR him and other employees bust out laughing. My friend informs the cashier that he better be joking. He tells her they seriously ran out of chicken. She asked to see the mgr. He says he is the mgr. She grabs her children and leaves. She tried to call their home office the next day with no help. They gave her the "it's privatly owned" speech. The cashier and other employees were dying laughing as she left. She could tell they were lying. But what do you do?

Only thing you can do, spread the word, and get people to boycott it. Sooner or later, either they go broke and a new owner will make it better, or they will fire a few folks and make it better that way

Decided to give them benefit of doubt and went there Friday. TERRIBLE I shouldnt have accepted the food after seeing how dirty it was from the drive thru. Plus the staff was nasty, all pierced and grungy looking.
Got home and got sick almost immediatly off my food, my daughters barely ate and I for once am thankful of that

If the problem is to be fixed do more than boycott, take the matter to the town hall meeting and deliver it as a safety matter.  The city counsel will put pressure on the "owner" to fix the problem.  If you are getting sick from the food as my family did call the mayors office and complain to them over and over again. &^&**(

One problem.. when I called home office about the problem I wrote about above, they took my info. to "pass on to the owner" to call me. Of course the owner never called me. I doubt the owner will do anything.. It'd be worth a try though.

I went in earlier this week and was told they were out of chicken...at 7:45 pm.  I agree with the boycott. It appears calling the manager doesn't do any good.

Okay So in the past year, I think instead of doing so much complaining about it, Someone should inform the owner of the St. Roberts KFC, What would it hurt to tell him that his management sucks.

That is the problem, we do not know who it is anymore. I used to know the owner, he does not own it any more.

I was told Brian McCarty does not own it after the divorce, and that he moved to the Jeff City area, and I could not find his number.
